It defines the activities and measures set up to achieve the targets, together with time frames and assigned responsibilities. Covenant signatories are free to choose the format of their SEAP, as long as it is in line with the general principles set out in the Covenant SEAP guidelines. on their territory, with the aim of cutting CO2 emissions by at least 20% by 2020.

Description:

Funding of 673.001 euros was approved for the Municipality of Hersonissos, by the Green Fund's latest call.  The proposal targeted the public street lighting sector in the Municipality and approximately  425 traditional bulbs will be replaced by Led energy efficient bulbs.  This project will lead up to 68.51% reduction in energy spending for street lamps that will be replaced.  This scheme will result to a 8,7%  reduction in carbon dioxide emissions produced in the Municipality by lighting.
