Covenant of Mayors Ceremony : Registrations closing on June 19th

The fourth edition of the Covenant of Mayors Ceremony is now less than a week away. Hundreds of city mayors, local and regional policy makers have already confirmed their participation and a few more seats are still up for grabs until registration closes this Wednesday 19 June.

For its 2013 best practice selection, the Covenant of Mayors Office calls on front-runner cities having signed the initiative, as well as coordinators and supporters, to submit their sustainable energy story. All selected best practices will be promoted and showcased on the Covenant Website, under in the online Catalogue of Benchmarks of Excellence (BoEs).

Mediterranean region: Covenant of Mayors sustainable energy planning supported through MEDEEA project

Launched in 2010, the MEDEEA project aims to achieve the EU 20-20-20 targets in the Mediterranean by supporting sustainable energy planning in the region.
