The Action Plan for Climate and Sustainable Energy A Pobra do Caramiñal supports the commitment to the European initiative "Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy", thus assuming the mitigation objectives of GHG emissions and adaptation to climate change defined in the new framework of action. A Pobra do Caramiñal foresees the reduction until 2030 of the emissions of its buildings, facilities and equipment by 40.0% compared to 2015, applying measures aimed at sustainable mobility, increasing energy efficiency in buildings, public facilities and equipment, use of renewable energy sources, the acquisition of certified green energy and awareness of municipal public employees
